Before & After School Care - Before Care (K - 5th) The Town of Southeast Parks & Recreation's Before & After Care Program is a childcare program certified by the State of New York. The main purpose of this program is to provide eligible children and their families with affordable and quality before and after school child care options. During sessions children will participate in enjoyable and meaningful activities while supervised by and engaged with qualified and certified staff all in a safe environment.Days of the ProgramBefore Care sessions take place on all days that the schools open at their regular times. There are no sessions on days of a delayed opening. After Care sessions take place on all days that the schools close at their regular times. There are no sessions on days of early dismissals or on days that the school has cancelled after-school activities due to weather or other concerns. We do not offer any care on days the school is not open, regardless of whether those days off are scheduled or unscheduled.Who can Enroll in the ProgramThis program is open to students registered in the Brewster Central School District in kindergarten through 5th grades. Please note that this program is no longer offered to children in Pre-K or any grades above 5th. Home-schooled students who live in the district are also not eligible for this program.Program LocationAll Before and After Care sessions take place in the JFK Elementary School; all morning drop-off and evening pick-up will take place there as well. Students who attend CV Starr Intermediate School will be bussed from JFK to CV Starr following Before Care and bussed from CV Starr to JFK following After Care.**IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS**After completing the below online registration, your child's enrollment in this program is not considered complete until you have downloaded, completed and returned to the Parks & Recreation Office the following New York State and/or BCSD required forms and have been notified that your forms have been accepted and processed.BCSD Alternate Transportation FormOCFS Day Care Enrollment Form (LDSS-0792)Please note that if your child has a documented allergy or medical issue, NYS policies for this program may require us to furnish you with additional medical documents to be completed if deemed necessary. These forms may require the involvement of your child's physician. In those cases you will be contacted directly by our staff with further information.

Tactical Laser Tag (Spring Session) - JV Player (5th-8th Grade) Tactical Laser Tag is a fast paced combat game that puts your teamwork to the test! TLT has all the fun and enjoyment of a game like paintball or airsoft, but with no projectiles, and First Person Sports' equipment is so advanced that taggers can shoot up to 600ft on a sunny day! With a wide array of mission types and tons of action, TLT will challenge even the most seasoned of gamers!Teams will consist of 4 players. TLTL will operate in a JV/Varsity combination: 3 JV (5th-8th grade) players per team and 1 Varsity (9-12th grade) player as captain. Captains will compete in a draft to acquire the teams that they want to lead through the season. (Single players will be randomly assigned to teams).All seasons follow the same format regardless of length. Teams compete against each other for the entire season. Once the core season has concluded, the top ranked teams from each participating school district will compete in a championship tournament. The date of which will be announced at least 7 days before the listed end of the regular season date. Participation in the championship is not guaranteed for any player.
